Services we can offer
Strategic Fuel Supply Chain Review We have been commissioned by major supermarkets and government agencies to provide strategic reviews of fuel importation, purchasing, storage and distribution practices. Work encompasses retail, marine and aviation fuels and includes recommendations on product specifications.
Fuel Procurement and Tendering We have advised major road and rail logistics providers who wish to review their fuel procurement processes. We have worked with clients to identify the benefits of reviewing their fuel supply options, logistics infrastructure and operating processes. We then facilitate the tender process, drawing up the document as required and managing the process with suppliers through to implementation.
Site AcquisitionsOn behalf of major food retailers and oil companies throughout the UK and Northern Ireland we have evaluated transactions ranging from ten to two hundred sites. We assist management teams in site selection, performance forecasting and forecast development opportunities and costs. In addition, we have facilitated deal negotiations, providing support to both the fuel negotiation and the acquisition costs.
Forecourt OperationsWe have created and implemented supermarket specific fuel brands and offers for major supermarket chains covering design, management and implementation. For a major Scottish retailer we identified and documented mandatory operational practices to improve performance and maintain legality.
